Ms. Barbara Wegner, a Director on the Memphis Area USBC
Board, is the newest inductee in the
Tennessee State Women's USBC Bowling Association's Hall
of Fame for Meritorious Service.
Barbara has supported the TSWBA for years and has worked
within that organization in many different capacities.
Currently she is a TSWBA Director and has been for the
past 15 years and prior to her becoming a Director, she
was a delegate for 7 years. She also serves on the
Tournament and Jamboree Committees. She has been
involved in the National, State and Local 600 Bowling Club
for the past 33 years and is the Vice President of the
Tennessee 600 Club.
Her involvement in bowling extended beyond the local and
state levels. She was a delegate to the WIBC
Convention for 18 years and after the national merger,
she has been a USBC delegate since its inception.
Ms. Wegner was born in Chicago, IL. and graduated from
Mozart Grammar School and Kelvyn High School. She
attended Anderson University in Anderson, IN.
Moving to Bartlett, TN. in 1970, she began a career at

She started her bowling career at Imperial Lanes and
continues to bowl in 3 leagues while subing in others.
Her volunteering extends beyond her duties as a Director
on the TSWBA & Memphis boards. She works with all
bowlers, including the Memphis youth. Not being
content with her responsibilities as Director, she also
volunteers at the MAUSBC office 2-3 times a week,
filling awards, filing papers and any other way she can
help out.
Ms. Wegner's dedication is only surpassed by her winning
smile, which is always on display.
