SHERYL
HAYESSheryl has been active in
the Memphis Women's Bowling Association and
has worked with youth bowlers since
1975.
She was elected to the MWBA Board as a
Director in the 1980-81 season and has
served the Board since that time while
holding several offices.
She was President of the MWBA from 2000
through 2005 when the merger of the ABC,
WIBC and YABA associations became the
Memphis Area USBC Association (MAUSBC).
She served as Secretary of the Merger
Committee and was instrumental in getting
the merger approved by the voting bowlers of
the city.
She is currently the serving Vice
President of the MAUSBC and is the newly
elected President to take office August 1,
2007.
Sheryl has been very active with the
youth bowlers of Memphis, both through the
Memphis Youth Bowling Association (YABA) and
The National Bowling Association (TNBA)
youth groups.
She has served as a TNBA Vice president
and has worked many tournaments including
being the Tournament Director of many of the
TNBA tournaments.
her accomplishments were capped in 2007
when the Tennessee State Youth USBC
Tournament was dedicated to her in
recognition of her years of service.
Her dedication to the youth of our city
has earned her the right to become a Life
Member of the Memphis Area USBC Association,
Inc.
