NEW LIFE MEMBERS NAMED

Sheryl HayesSHERYL HAYES

Sheryl has been active in the Memphis Women's Bowling Association and has worked  with youth bowlers since 1975.

She was elected to the MWBA Board as a Director in the 1980-81 season and has served the Board since that time while holding several offices.

She was President of the MWBA from 2000 through 2005 when the merger of the ABC, WIBC and YABA associations became the Memphis Area USBC Association (MAUSBC).

She served as Secretary of the Merger Committee and was instrumental in getting the merger approved by the voting bowlers of the city.

She is currently the serving Vice President of the MAUSBC and is the newly elected President to take office August 1, 2007.

Sheryl has been very active with the youth bowlers of Memphis, both through the Memphis Youth Bowling Association (YABA) and The National Bowling Association (TNBA) youth groups.

She has served as a TNBA Vice president and has worked many tournaments including being the Tournament Director of many of the TNBA tournaments.

her accomplishments were capped in 2007 when the Tennessee State Youth USBC Tournament was dedicated to her in recognition of her years of service.

Her dedication to the youth of our city has earned her the right to become a Life Member of the Memphis Area USBC Association, Inc.

Barbara WegnerBARBARA WEGNER

Barbara has been involved with the Memphis Women's Bowling Association for many years in her bowling career.

She has served as a Director, Sergeant at Arms and Vice President during her fifteen (15) years of service.

Barbara has served as a Delegate to the National WIBC Convention for 18 years.  She represented the MAUSBC at the last two National USBC Conventions.

She has been a Director on the Tennessee State Women's Association and the Tennessee Women USBC Association for eight years and has served on all committees of that association.

Her dedication to bowling and her willingness to work in any way to help promote bowling has been outstanding.

She has been a hard worker at many tournaments and has helped make the Memphis Area USBC Association a better association.
